RTÉ TV presenter is MC for Mullingar Town Band Christmas Concert at Bloomfield Hotel

Mullingar Town Band present A Christmas Concert featuring MTB Concert Band and Loreto College Choir, at Bloomfield House Hotel on Wednesday December 3 at 7.30pm (doors 7pm). Tickets (€12) are available from band members or mullingartownband.ie or 086 1999497

Under the baton of conductor and friend of the Mullingar Concert Band, Vincent Dolan, Mullingar Town Band are looking forward to performing in the beautiful, festive, surroundings of Bloomfield House Hotel.

With a programme of Christmas favourites such as The Snowman, Sleigh Ride and Fairytale of New York, and favourite carols, it promises to be a great way to ease in to the Christmas spirit.

The band will be joined on the night by the award winning Loreto College Choir and their directors Laura Cahill and Claire Gilmartin. MC for the evening is Sharon Tobin of RTÉ. A raffle will take place on the night and plenty of great prizes are on offer.

The Mullingar Concert Band was launched in autumn 2021 with the aim of encouraging adult musicians of varying standards to join together to play music, learn, socialise and have fun.

It is a part of, but also a natural extension of Mullingar Town Band, and many members previously played with the Town Band over the years.
