Mullingar Golf Club notes
Work continues at great pace on the bunker renovation project, with activity now spanning holes 11 through 15. Shaping on the 15th will continue into next week; we expect to begin shaping on the 10th hole by the end of next week, which will take that hole out of play while works are underway; holes 11 to 14 are progressing well and should be ready to reopen within the next week, weather permitting.
Please remember that play is strictly prohibited in all roped-off areas, and from next week we will provide ball retrievers in each newly completed bunker so members do not need to enter these zones at all.
We are pleased to report that the project remains on schedule, and the aim is to have the entire back nine completed by Christmas. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue this important improvement work.
The Club AGM is Sunday November 30 at 5.30pm; the annual Christmas party is Saturday December 13 at 7.30pm; the Children’s Christmas Party is scheduled for Friday December 12 at 5.30pm.
