Local EuroDreams player wins €2,000 a month for five years

A EuroDreams player in Westmeath won a €2,000 a month for the next five years in Monday night’s (December 1) EuroDreams draw.

The winner purchased a Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw.

The winning numbers in Monday night’s EuroDreams draw were 12, 15, 19, 23, 33, 38 and the Dream number was 3.

The National Lottery says the store location where the winning EuroDreams Tier 2 prize was purchased will be announced on Thursday.

EuroDreams is the first annuity game of its kind in Ireland, offering tax-free monthly payments instead of a lump sum. The Tier 2 prize won in Westmeath is worth €120,000 total.

The Tier 1 top prize is currently boosted to an incredible €30,000 per month for 30 years – €10.8 million in total, paid in monthly instalments (usually €20,000 per month for 30 years).

This special event, which began on October 2, continues until someone wins the top prize.

EuroDreams draws take place every Monday and Thursday in eight countries: Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.

Tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm cut-off time for sales on Thursday.
