Westmeath actress to appear in RTÉ's Museum of Me series

Westmeath native actress Mary McEvoy is set to make an appearance on the new RTÉ series 'Museum of Me'.

The 71-year-old is recognised by television viewers for having played the role of Biddy Byrne in Glenroe from 1983 to 2000.

Coming in spring of 2026, Museum of Me will see host Dermot Whelan invite well-known Irish public figures to become curators of their very own museum exhibition.

These exhibitions feature personal treasured possessions, each one holding its own stories and memories.

Other famous faces including Pat Shortt, Maia Dunphy, Bryan Dobson,, Emma Doran, and Steve Garrigan, Dermot travels to meet the celebrities in their homes or spaces meaningful to them.
