A highlight of the final week before the break at Coláiste Mhuire is the annual Sixth Years Christmas dinner.
“It’s been running for three years now,” year head, Eugene Coyle said, as 120 students sat down to a tasty-looking feast in the school canteen. Many of the boys wore colourful Christmas sweaters and the requisite party hats!
“It’s a special memory for the students as they finish up for their last Christmas together in the school,” said his colleague, teacher Siobhan Farry.
