Busy year for Mullingar's shining star
Mullingar's most popular son Niall Horan has had spectacular success, both musically and in business in the last year and he issued a special seasonal message to his fans on his website.
In 2025, Niall made history on the US version of the singing competition The Voice, released a country-pop collaboration, and continued work on his next studio album.
He won a Grammy Award for Best Vocal Performance for his song “Echoes of Light” at the 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony, while accounts for his company, Jaredon Ltd, revealed he paid himself €2.2 million on the back of his successful 2024 "The Show: Live on Tour". He also reportedly purchased a six-bedroom home in London with his girlfriend, Amelia Woolley, and invested in a fitness technology company called Whoop.
Earlier this month Niall's team member, Aiden Ross, won The Voice competition. In a March interview he told of beginning working on his fourth solo album, the follow-up to his 2023 release The Show.
In his message to fans he said: “With the end of the year approaching, I just wanted to drop in quickly to say hello and thank you for another amazing year.
“I've spent most of 2025 tucked away in the studio and am really excited and proud of the music that's come out of it.
“I can't wait to start telling you more and sharing things when the time's right. There's plenty to come on that front, but for now I'd love to get to know you a bit better.”
