Update on arrest in Edenderry fatal house fire investigation

An Garda Síochána investigating the fatal house fire in Edenderry, Offaly on December 6, 2025 have given an update on the matter.

The man in his late 20s arrested yesterday in connection with this investigation has since been released without charge. A file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Investigations are ongoing.
