Met Éireann issue yellow level fog alert for tonight, Saturday

The Met Éireann Weather Warning Alerting Service has issued a Yellow level alert for fog from 9pm today, Saturday.

The message is: “Areas of dense fog or freezing fog possible, leading to impaired visibility and hazardous travelling conditions.”

Affected Regions: Carlow, Cavan, Clare, Galway, Kildare, Kilkenny, Leitrim, Laois, Limerick, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Roscommon, Tipperary, Waterford, and Westmeath
