‘Gaeilge Curious’ session attended surprise themselves with memory of language
The Sunday afternoon ‘Gaeilge Curious’ sessions at Cullion continued on March 8 and those in attendance really enjoyed taking part in what was a light hearted session.
So far, 12 local people have taken part in the sessions and surprising themselves at how quickly their vocabulary is coming back to them.
The next session is on Sunday next at 3pm and, as March 17, the national holiday is two days later, the organisers hope that as many people as possible will go along.
These sessions are open to all so no matter where you live you are welcome to attend; the Eircode for the venue is N91HR90.
There is a definite resurgence in the number of people interested in using and learning the ‘Cúpla Focail’. If you are in any way ‘Gaeilge Curious’, go along. Whether you have lots of ‘focail’ or ‘no focail at all’ you will be welcome.
Ná bí buartha. Ní bheidh brú ort agus you will enjoy the chat whether it is trí Béarla nó trí Gaeilge.
