Am event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first recordings of Irish traditional music on the concertina by William Mullally takes place this weekend in Mullingar.

The night includes a presentation and recital by Micheál Ó Raghallaigh, with guests Róisín Broderick, Noel Battle, Niamh O’Sullivan, Cian Kearins, Macdara Ó Raghallaigh and Caomhán Mac Gabhann with Enda Keating.

It takes place at Áras an Mhuilinn tomorrow, Saturday March 28, at 7.40pm.

Admission is €10.
