Everyone in Westmeath Camogie wishes to extend their heartfelt congratulations to Dean, Brian, Matthew, captain Mikey, and all involved in the Coláiste Mhuire Mullingar school who took home the Hogan Cup All-Ireland title in Croke Park on St Patrick’s Day.
It was one of the great sporting occasions ever witnessed in the county and the team delivered against Tralee CBS in what was a heart-stopping game at times. Well done to all.
MOATE CS GIRLS ALL-IRELAND
Although beaten, Moate CS put up an incredible fight in both the Senior and the All-Ireland U16 ‘A’ finals recently. To achieve back-to-back deciders is a rare thing and everyone in Westmeath Camogie sends their congratulations to all the girls and to those who are also camogie players too.
It is incredible to see such commitment to both games and well done to everyone in the school.
