Storm Dave leaves a mark

Storm Dave did not have a severe impact in the midlands, but on Monday morning, a tree was down in the Fair Green area of Mullingar, close to the Carey Bridge and Grand Parade. The strong winds on Saturday, owing to the storm, led to damage around the country, particularly in the south and west, but Westmeath escaped lightly.
