Westmeath hotel plans for wellness centre

A Castlepollard hotel has indicated that it plans to develop a wellness centre as part of its business. Castle Varagh Hotel Ltd has approached local authority planners about the development. The proposed development is for the construction of a single-storey, detached ancillary building (wellness centre) with internal courtyard within the grounds of the existing hotel.

The plans cover landscaping, boundary treatments and all associated works necessary to facilitate the proposed development at Castle Varagh Hotel, The Square, Castlepollard.

The Castle Varagh Hotel is a boutique, family-run hotel that offers 18 stylish bedrooms, a restaurant and bar, and serves as a base for exploring local attractions like Fore Abbey, Tullynally Castle, and Lough Derravaragh

The initial approach about the project was made on April 13, and the planners anticipate a decision by June 7.
