Westward Scania deliver 10 new tractor units to Lynn International
Westward Scania have recently made a landmark delivery to Mullingar company Lynn International of 10 new Scania tractor units.
Lynn International Transport have been customers of Westward Scania since their earliest days in business, and, under the guidance of Gerry and Kathleen Lynn, haves constantly kept an up-to-date fleet of trucks.
The most recent investment will increase the efficiency of the fleet, as these 10, fuel efficient Super engined Scanias are the most economical on the market.
Lynn International have excelled in general Haulage for more than 30 years. Founded by Gerard Lynn, they operate from a base in Ballinea, and serve numerous markets, without having dependence on any particular sector or customer.
Gerard Lynn maintains that a lot of hard work over the years has put his family business where they are at this stage.
Gerard’s three sons, Gerard Junior, Shane and Jason, and daughter Stacey, joined the company from young age and are all involved in the daily running, and they joined Gerry and Kathleen at the handover.
The deal was completed by Eric Treacy, the second generation of Treacys to deal with Gerry and Kathleen.
Joe Crann of Westward Scania said they are delighted to complete the delivery in their 50th year of holding the Scania distributorship for Ireland.
To commemorate their 50 years, Westward Scania have commissioned 50 Limited Edition Scania trucks, designed and built by legendary custom builder Svempas in Sweden. "We were delighted to offer one of the Limited Edition 770S 6X2’s to Lynns and it is due for delivery this year," said Mr Crann.
