Longford Westmeath Sinn Fein TD, Sorca Clarke, has wished Leaving and Junior Certificate students the very best of luck

Sinn Féin TD today wished the thousands of students starting their Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations the very best of luck over the coming weeks, particularly those across Longford and Westmeath.

Deputy Clarke said: “These exams represent the culmination of years of hard work, commitment and preparation by students, their teachers and school staff.

“Every student sitting down in front of an exam paper this morning should feel proud of the effort they have put in to reach this point.

“My advice to students is simple: do your best, stay focused, and look after one another.

“This can be a stressful time, so it’s important to lean on the support of your friends and family and look out for one another.

“While these exams are important, there are now more pathways than ever to further education, apprenticeships and employment opportunities, and every student should know that their future is full of possibilities.

“I have no doubt that this year’s Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle students will do themselves, their families, and their schools proud.

“I want to wish each and every one of them the very best of luck and every success in the weeks and years ahead.”
