MACE Ballinalack recognised for 'exceptional standards'

O’Reilly’s MACE Ballinalack were recognised at the recent MACE Excellence Awards for achieving exceptional standards in retailing.

The event was held at Lawlor’s Hotel in Naas, and hosted by BWG Foods, owners and operators of the MACE brand in Ireland.

This year’s MACE Excellence Awards, held in association with Solution Management Associates (SMA), are presented only to MACE stores that successfully complete an intensive, year-long inspection programme.

That includes two unannounced audits, an SMA audit, and a BWG Foods safety audit conducted in conjunction with globally recognised assurance partner LRQA.

Keith Crawford, MACE sales director, said: “The recipients of this year’s MACE Excellence Awards continue to set the highest retail standards for the brand and the wider market, particularly against a backdrop of uncertainty and increasing business costs. Congratulations to David and Maura O’Reilly and their team for the vital role they play in their local communities.”

Operated by independent retailers, MACE’s nationwide network includes community stores, forecourt shopping locations and urban stores, with more than 160 MACE stores across Ireland.
