Council planners set for decision on Kilbeggan housing development

Westmeath County Council are set to make a decision on a planning application by Eurkon (Kilbeggan) Ltd, lodged at the end of April, for the construction of 54 new residential units at the Dublin Road R446, Kilbeggan.

The proposed development includes the construction of six terraced, three-bedroom, two-storey houses, eight semi-detached/terraced three-bedroom, two-storey houses, 22 semi-detached, three-bedroom, two-storey houses, and one semi-detached, three-bedroom two-storey house.

The development will also include car parking, bin and bicycle stores, public and communal open spaces, site services including foul pumping station and associated rising main, landscaping, boundary treatments and all ancillary site development works, with vehicular and pedestrian access from the Dublin Road (R446) all on site of just over four and a half acres.

The local authority are expected to reach a decision this week.
