Survey on work and enterprise in Kinnegad
A range of activities relating to work and enterprise in Kinnegad is to come under the microscope in a new two-part survey launched by Westmeath County Council.
Announcing the survey, the council said the intention is to assess commuting patterns and demand for enterprise units, office space and remote working facilities in Kinnegad.
The findings will then help the council decide on the detail of a proposed enterprise and co-working hub aimed at supporting local economic development.
The vision is that the proposed Hub would offer high-quality workspace, business training programmes and facilities for both businesses, commuters and the wider community.
"This survey will assist us in preparing an application for funding and your input will help ensure that the proposed facility meets the needs of people living and working in the area," the council has said.
It added that all responses would be confidential and used for research purposes only.
The closing date for participation is Friday June 3.
