Chamber president supporting Mullingar business owners

Mullingar Chamber president Suzanne McEvoy has been visiting members and celebrating business milestones in the town.

Suzanne called to Sugar Plum Sweetery to catch up with the team, and to pick up treats before congratulating Bevcraft Group on reaching 10 years in business. During her visit, she met with Michael and Darren to mark the occasion and wished the team every success for the next decade and beyond.

She also visited David O’Malley at his watchmaker, jeweller and fishing tackle shop to mark 70 years in business. Established in 1956, the family business has served generations of customers from Dominick Street. David’s father founded the business, his brother continued it, and David later expanded it. Now, it has had 70 years of building trust, adapting through changing times, and providing exceptional service to the community.

Suzanne’s visits concluded with a presentation to A Gorman Flooring and Furniture, who recently celebrated 10 years in business. Established by Anthony and Sharon Gorman in 2016 on Austin Friars Street, the business has earned a reputation for quality products and outstanding customer service.

Anthony and Sharon expressed their sincere appreciation to the people of Mullingar and their customers for the support that has helped their business grow over the decade.

Mullingar Chamber walk-in clinic

Suzanne is hosting an informal walk-in clinic to give members the opportunity to share ideas, discuss challenges, learn more about chamber membership, or just to say hello. It’s on Friday July 31 (10-12.30pm) in the Mullingar Chamber office on Market Square. No appointment is necessary – just drop in.
