Raharney Camogie Club host Liz Cahill memorial tournament

On Saturday in Joristown Park, the home of Raharney hurling and camogie, a very special occasion took place as the club celebrated and remembered their great friend Liz Cahill.

The Raharney camogie club organised a Camán for Liz blitz which included teams from Westmeath, Naas and Shinrone.

The club would like to say a special thanks to everyone who helped them in any way. It all contributed to another great success.

A special mention to Louise Flynn, Rebecca Boyle and Áine Weir who did an excellent job organising the running of the day and it was such a great sporting occasion once again.

A special congratulations goes to the various winners on the day.

It takes am entire community to make this day this special so the club thanks all who contributed and it is hoped that the Liz Cahill Memorial Tournament continues to be such a wonderful event.
