Club Iarmhí happy with support for annual Golf Classic

Club Iarmhí, the official supporters group of Westmeath GAA, hosted a highly successful Golf Classic on Friday, August 14, with golfers, sponsors and supporters coming together for a fantastic day of sport and fundraising at Mullingar Golf Club.

The annual Classic proved to be a tremendous success, with teams enjoying excellent playing conditions on a course presented in superb condition by the grounds staff at Mullingar Golf Club. The event attracted wonderful support from local businesses, sponsors and participants, all contributing to another memorable occasion for Club Iarmhí.

Speaking at the prize presentation, Club Iarmhí chairman Paul Daly expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make the event such a success. He thanked all of the golfers who took part, the many generous sponsors who supported the Classic, and everyone who contributed towards the fundraiser.

Paul also paid tribute to the hardworking Club Iarmhí committee members who gave their time and effort throughout the day to ensure the event ran smoothly. Their commitment and organisation played a major role in delivering such a successful occasion.

Before presenting the prizes to the winning teams and competition winners, he also acknowledged the management and staff of Mullingar Golf Club for their hospitality, along with the grounds people whose dedication ensured the golf course was in excellent condition for all participants.

The Club Iarmhí Golf Classic once again highlighted the incredible community spirit surrounding Westmeath GAA, with the support of players, businesses and volunteers helping to make the day an outstanding success.
