CCÉ 75th anniversary celebration opens in style

The Westmeath CCÉ 75th Anniversary celebration began in fine style last night at Mullingar Arts Centre, and it continues today at Áras an Mhuilin, the Bandhall and on the Market Square.

Last night musicians from all eight Westmeath Comhaltas branches performed together on one stage for a unique event that showed the talent and tradition in the county.

The committee thanked and congratulated every musician, singer and dancer who took part and helped make the opening night a memorable one.

They extended thanks to the Ox Mountain Quartet for their performance.
