New development of family homes for Kinnegad

A new residential estate, Chapel Park, comprising three and four bedroom family homes is planned for Kinnegad.

The new housing units, by Moylough Developments, are marketed as a modern family-oriented scheme, with homes designed to provide contemporary living space and energy efficiency.

According to the developers, the properties will feature modern kitchens, bright interiors and layouts designed to maximise space and natural light. The homes will be built to achieve an A-rated Building Energy Rating (BER), with the aim of providing high levels of energy efficiency and helping to reduce household energy costs.

Chapel Park will also include landscaped open spaces, pedestrian-friendly routes and communal areas as part of the overall development.

The scheme is located close to Kinnegad's schools, shops, cafés, childcare facilities, sporting amenities and other community services.

Its location also provides access to the M4 motorway, with Dublin, Mullingar, Enfield and other employment centres within commuting distance. Enfield train station is also located nearby, providing rail connections to Dublin's Connolly Station.

The developers say the combination of local amenities and transport links is intended to make the development suitable for families and commuters seeking a home in the area.

Most of the homes at Chapel Park are expected to be eligible for the Help to Buy scheme, subject to purchasers meeting the relevant criteria. The A-rated energy performance may also make eligible properties suitable for certain Green Mortgage products offered by lenders.

Murtagh Bros and Coonan Property have been appointed as joint selling agents for the development.
