It’s just another Lemon Tree
Just more lemons to get lashed at you again and again.
‘If life throws lemons at you… make lemonade.’
Options:
Option 1: Duck
You might think life is throwing lemons at you, but it could be aiming for something else. If you duck, then more than likely it’ll miss you, but you could still go find the lemons that nearly hit you and make lemonade.
Option 2: Catch
When lemons get thrown at you, catch them. That way you are collecting lemons for a rainy day and you can make lemonade and drink it and sell it and plant more lemon trees.
Option 3: Stand still
Do nothing, Pretend you can’t even see the lemons being hurled at you, don’t even react. Unfortunately, they may hit you right in the face and it’s hard not to react, but just let it pass, collect the lemons (they may be a bit dented but still useful), and go make lemonade, and plant a few trees, you’re even helping the environment.
Option 4: Throw them back
Yes, I said that, but unfortunately, you won’t get to make lemonade unless you’re willing to confront the reason they’re being thrown in the first place. Then you can find the lemons and they will be slightly in worse shape than Option 3 lemons but the lemonade is still doable.
Option 5: Play dead
Collapse on the ground and pretend you are knocked out then hopefully no more lemons will come your way in future; the only problem is as soon as you get back up, you risk the problematic lemons being thrown again.
Ah, well… at least there’s a good outcome, refreshing lemonade for everyone. And trees planted. Win-win.
What if
What if there was no such thing as time,
no hurrying your morning bagel or coffee, your evening glass of wine,
what if time didn’t exist like we knew it, no rushing about,
less strain and anxiety on everyone without a shadow of a doubt.
What if we weren’t constantly checking the time on our phones,
or looking up at the clock in our own homes,
making sure we’re not late for this and for that,
putting a strain on our life, our delicate heart.
What if we lived like people in the stone ages,
the sun and moon decided their routine on how the sun gages,
no deadlines to meet, no meetings to brief,
just letting the universe guide you leading to a gentler heart beat.
what if we didn’t waste time by being constantly on the go, missing the view,
speeding past life, skipping the queue,
What if time was non existent, it was just not about,
we could spend eternity doing what we wanted to do, not worrying about time running out.
