Gaybrook farm makes €720,000

A property at Bellfield, Gaybrook, sold for €720,000 in a Murtagh Bros auction at their Enfield premises last Thursday, October 22.

Dillon Murtagh said that, following a lot of interest, there was a competitive auction and a number of committed bidders, and the hammer fell at the €720,000 sale figure.

Ahead of the sale, the auctioneers had described the property as “a superb residential farm with a three/four bed detached bungalow, with a range of farm buildings extending to c.21.24 acres and extensive road frontage to two roads in an idyllic setting. The lands are of excellent quality and are in permanent pasture.”
