Bunbrosna GAA reel in the years
Bunbrosna GAA Club celebrated its 125-year history with a memorable 'Reeling In The Years' event on Saturday October 24, featuring music, set dancing, poetry and panel discussions recalling the club’s greatest achievements.
MCs Clare Moran and Joe Scally guided the audience through an evening of nostalgia, with contributions from club stalwarts, Scór performers and members of the 2001 Junior-winning team. The night also looked to the future, highlighting the club’s growing underage structures and ongoing developments. The All-Ireland-winning Set Dancers brought proceedings to a lively close, rounding off a wonderful celebration of Bunbrosna’s proud past and bright future.
It was a celebration of all the club has achieved in the past 125 years.
The club has thanked everyone who helped out in any way to make the event such a success.
A huge amount of work and detail was undertaken and the club is grateful to Hughie Tormey for his continued and unwavering support and for leaving his premises at their disposal for the event.
The Bunbrosna GAA Club is grateful to everyone who turned out in such large numbers to reminisce and recall some of the greatest stories of our past.
The proud club will hold their dinner dance on December 30.
