Meet the Irish guitar makers behind Niall Horan’s sound

As Niall Horan prepares for his concerts in Dublin next week, Three Ireland are giving one fan the chance to take home a Lowden guitar, celebrating the craftsmanship, Irishness and musical connection to the Mullingar man.

On the night of November 10, fans will have to put their musical skills to the test to have a chance to take home a handcrafted Lowden guitar.

Niall’s music has always had a strong connection to home, including a long-standing relationship with Lowden Guitars, which was founded in 1974 by George Lowden.

Niall’s custom Lowden guitars have accompanied him throughout his solo career.

George Lowden said: “Making guitars has always been about creating something that inspires people to make music. Every guitar is shaped by the materials we work with, the care that goes into making it and, ultimately, the person who plays it.

“There is something special about seeing Irish artists take their music out into the world and connect with audiences everywhere, and Niall is a great example of that.”

At the heart of the giveaway is a Lowden Original Series F-32, a handcrafted acoustic guitar that showcases the brand’s commitment to quality materials, craftsmanship and rich sound.

The model reflects the style of guitar in Niall’s musical collection, adding a personal connection to the partnership.

Fans queuing outside 3Arena on November 10 will have to keep an eye out for one of the Three brand ambassadors with the guitar to have the chance to show off their musical skills, prove they can play and potentially take it home.

Further details on how to take part will be shared ahead of the show on Three’s social media.
