Mullingar Lions Club, in conjunction with Friends of Mullingar Hospital, are hosting an art auction to raise funds for the MRI scanner fund at Mullingar hospital, on Thursday October 17 in The Greville Arms Hotel.
Fonsie Mealy of Fine of Fine Arts, Kilkenny, is the auctioneer on the night and some 30 artists are involved, including local artist Roy Lindsay, and over 60 pieces of art will be auctioned on the night.
Viewings in the Greville Arms will take place on Wednesday October 16 from 4pm to 9pm and Thursday 17th, 4-7pm; the auction commences at 8pm.
