Thief got man’s number

A thief who stole the numberplate from a car at Ardleigh is being sought by gardaí.

Some time between 7pm and 6pm on Friday/Saturday night last, the thief stole the plate from the car which was parked at a house at Ardleigh Vale.

Door slammer

Criminal damage to a door at St Loman’s Hospital is being investigated by gardaí.

The alleged incident occurred at around 1.30pm on Wednesday last, at a rear door at the hospital.

Screwed

A man arrested near a business premises in Tyrrellspass on Thursday last had screwdrivers and other items in his possession that led gardaí to suspect he had intentions of committing a burglary.

The man, who was not local to the county was arrested at 10.30 am and has been charged.
