Yes For Children bus campaign in Mullingar

The Yes For Children bus campaign will be in Mullingar (at The Cathedral) on Sunday October 28, from 10am, when Ashley Balbirnie, the CEO of the ISPCC, will be its spokesperson for the day.Yes for Children is a national campaign led by Barnardos, the Children's Rights Alliance, the ISPCC and Campaign for Children, following the government announcement that the Children's Referendum will be on Saturday 10 November.The four organisations are proud to be working together as Yes for Children, to campaign for a yes vote.Yes for Children says it is committed to a rigorous and honest debate on the issues that affect the lives of children in Ireland. We will be arriving in Mullingar on Sunday October 28 and look forward to engaging in a positive and constructive campaign. All of us want to ensure the things that happened in the past can never be repeated.Mr Balbirnie said; "We are delighted to bring the bus to Mullingar. In order to make sure we bring this important message to the people of Ireland, there will be a Yes for Children Bus Campaign which will visit over 40 towns, cities and communities throughout Ireland with Yes for Children members and supporters.
