After building up a long lead in the back straight he held on to win by a neck from Spot the Aussie in 30.31.Bective Angel broke in front in the 400 yds seventh race and resisted the challenge of Keen Diamond all the way to win by one and a half lengths in 22.02. After breaking in front he resisted the challenge by Boozy Boy all the way to win by three quarters of a length in 29.84. Rule the World did the business in the 400yds ninth race for his joint owners, Philip McCormack (Balbriggan) and Patrick McCarthy (The Downs).
