The 12 best and brightest chosen via audtions in the latest Mullingar's Got Talent competition will battle it out for a €500 prize at the Mullingar Arts Centre on August 14.The evening will help to raise much-needed funds for the Irish Wheelchair Association which provides a number of services for people with physical disabilities in the local community.One of the main organisers of the event, Dani Weldon said the funds raised from the show in the Arts Centre will go towards their centre in Springfield where they run day services and activities for people with physical and sensory disabilities."If you come along to the event you are sure to see some of the finest talent around," said Dani."On the night we hope to re creat the atmosphere of the TV show that we have based the competition on."Tickets will be available for this event and that is where we would be hoping to raise fund for the Springfield Centre, so we would ask the people of the town to come out and support us."Call the Arts Centre on 044 9347777.
