ISPCA awarded €500 by Aldi's Dublin Road, Mullingar staff

Aldi has announced that the ISPCA is the latest charity to benefit from its Community Grants programme. 

Aldi’s Dublin Road, Mullingar store staff have awarded the ISPCA a €500 grant in recognition of its tremendous work and to help support its vital services.

The €500 grant was presented to Deirdre Scally and Holly of the ISPCA by Robert Cullen, Aldi’s Dublin Road, Mullingar store ‘charity champion’.

Hundreds of charities have been supported by the programme over its three years to date and Aldi has donated more than €200,000.

John Curtin, group buying director, Aldi Ireland, said: “We are delighted our Dublin Road, Mullingar employees have chosen to support the ISPCA.

“Its work in promoting animal welfare within the community and across the country is essential.

“Supporting the local communities our stores serve is something that we truly believe in. 

“Through our Community Grants programme and partnerships with both FoodCloud and youth organisation Foróige, we have been able to directly help many of the worthwhile charities and organisations making a huge difference to Westmeath.”
