Congratulations Ray and Claire!

There are plenty of stars on the Late Late Show tonight, but none better, or more romantic, than Claire Weston and Ray Carolan.

They were in the audience on tonight's show, and (we take it) as arranged by Ray, they found themselves on the stage, where he got down on one knee and proposed.

"Claire, sweetheart, ever since the first day I met you, I've known I loved you. You're the best mother, the best girlfriend a guy could ever have, and I adore you so much.

"I love you to bits.

"You've seen me at my weakest, and you stood by me, and we've done so much together. I want to do so much more together with you, so Claire, tonight, [huge cheers from the audience] I want to ask you to be my wife. Will you marry me?"

Claire said yes!
