Arts Centre has classes for all this Autumn

A huge programme of classes in art, dance, languages and all sorts of activities, has been lined up for the Arts Centre in Mullingar for the Autumn.Under the "art" headline, there's a choice of watercolours with Anne Kiernan, which recommences on Tuesday September 22, or Anne's oil and acrylics class, which recommences on Wednesday September 23. Also to run on Tuesdays is an oil and acrylics class with Loreto Cooney.For those with an interest in dance, the choices are ballet with Patricia McDermott, recommencing on Thursday September 12; the Dionysus School of Dance, with Siobhan Murphy, recommencing on Tuesday September 15, Friday September 18 and Saturday September 19. There's a limited number of places on these courses.The Fame Fantastique School of Dance with Sabrina McCauley-Healy recommences on Monday September 14, and Carol O'Reilly's Irish dancing classes recommence on Monday September 7.Among the musical options are flute classes with Angela Lynch, recommencing on Monday September 14; also piano with Angela on Monday, September 14 (limited places), and traditional instruments with Siobhan Masterson, recommencing on Saturday September 12.The Mullingar Youth Academy of Performing Arts recommences on Saturday September 12, but there are no vacancies at this stage; Arts and Crafts with Umbrella Studio recommences on Thursday September 10; and Speech and Drama with Olive Whelan recomences on Saturday September 12.To book places on any of these courses, contact the Arts Centre at 044 93 47777.
