On Sunday week last, the now annual Christmas Market run by St Patrick’s NS Edmonton took place at the Killucan GAA grounds.
The parents association set up and have run the market for a number of years as part of a fundraiser for the school.
The event had more than 40 stalls with people exhibiting and selling crafts, home baked goods, wreaths, floral displays, woodcrafts, jewellery and more. The parents association ran a raffle with a multitude of hampers and prizes.
The staff and board of St Patrick’s NS are grateful for all of the work the parents association have done in organising the event. Members of the St Munna's camogie side, who have reached the All-Ireland Junior B final, were there in support with their Westmeath and Leinster trophies.
