Where did that past year go lads?Des wins in Carlow againHeartiest congratulations to Dessie Morgan on winning the Midland Scratch Cup over the past weekend, repeating his achievement of 2003. This 72-hole event is only one of two or three remaining (Mullingar and Cork) on the Irish golf calendar and with Mullingar, would be considered next to the Championships. Des won by no less than five shots from a very good quality field.
