The chancers from Coventry

On Thursday the "chancers from Coventry", otherwise known as Lewis Garland and the Kett Rebellion will play the Stables in Mullingar, bringing with them an energetic set to intimate surroundings.Together with guest Hugh Patrick, Lewis Garland and the Kett Rebellion have been highly acclaimed for their performances, with the group's folk-tinged sound providing the perfect complement to Lewis's intricate, often caustic, wordplay.In Autumn 2006 the Norfolk born singer-songwriter Lewis Garland press-ganged Bradley Blackwell (Double Bass), Drew Coleman (Mandolin, Guitar, Concertina) and Ben Wiffen (Clarinet, Percussion) into his services on board the good ship 'Kett Rebellion'.
