The boys are back in town!

The Blizzards will hold a concert at home in Mullingar on December 29 in the Greville Arms Hotel, with support on the night provided by Not Men But Giants.Although they"ve hosted free gigs in Danny Byrne"s, it"s the first time in over a year the Mullingar boys have held a proper concert in the town, and the boys say they"re looking forward to playing to a home crowd again.Currently the lads are getting ready to shoot a video in Mullingar in January for their upcoming single Postcards.Filming will take place over three days and will feature some well know spots around the town. The local lads have had a very busy run of it lately, raising €10,000 for Breast Cancer research from a concert held in Cork last week, held in conjunction with Red FM, while their current single, The Reason was one of the most played tracks in November and December over national airwaves. On top of this, their album The Domino Effect has just gone platinum and they have been receiving huge interest over their latest music video, which stems from a conversation producers Wyld Stallyons had with the band"s lead singer, Niall Breslin.Commissioned by Universal Music, the plot follows a strange, sinister world, blending 3D and 2D animation to create characters who deal with unrequited love and giant monsters trying to destroy a city.
