A great day was had on Sunday May 26 at Crookedwood GAA pitch when Taghmon/Turin Community Games held their track event. The event has not taken place in a number of years and there was a great turnout, though unfortunately a heavy downpour caused an abrupt ending.
Our winners will be running in style at the Community Games county final in Mullingar Harriers on June 30. The TT committee would like to sincerely thank Aidan Davitt of Sherry Fitzgerald Davitt and Davitt for sponsoring our new singlets.
TT committee members are looking forward to hosting their final local event, an Art, Handwriting and Clay Modelling competition in Taghmon NS on Saturday June 8 (2-4.30pm). See Taghmon/Turin Community Games Facebook page for more details.
