Athboy's Paul Leavy aims for Glór Tíre glory

Athboy's Paul Leavy, a service engineer with a big love for country music features on tonight's Glór Tíre, on TG4 at 9.30pm.

The country music talent show 'Glór Tíre' has returned to the Quays in Galway as the hunt for Ireland's best country talent continues.

With help from Ireland's biggest country music stars six contestants battle it out. 

Gerry Guthrie will mentor Paul Leavy, whose influences include Charlie Pride, Merle Haggard, and Buck Owens, this week on Glór Tíre 

Presented by Aoife Ní Thuairisg, with help from the judges John Creedon, Caitríona Ní Shúilleabháin and Jó Ní Chéide, who ably guide the contestants.
