Spring Into Fashion next week

Sinead Tormey, Olive Connaughton and Anne Reynolds are among the volunteers supporting John’s Amani Orphanage this year, and they have organised a night of fashion and fun to raise funds for it.

It’s called Spring into Fashion and it’s at the Greville Arms on Friday April 4.

It is a night of fun and fabulousness, and there will be a strong emphasis on shopping local, as well as style tips for events including Communions, Confirmations, weddings and race meetings, and tips on what’s hot in the style stakes for spring and summer.

John McCauley has been working with the Amani Orphanage in Tanzania for several years now, to improves the lives of the children there.

He continues to put a great deal of time and energy into enhancing the orphanage, and has also started a Buy A Brick campaign to raise funds to build new classrooms at the existing orphanage, where a group of volunteers are going in August to help him with this task.

Tickets for the fashion show are €10 and can be purchased from the Westmeath Examiner, The Greville Arms Hotel, from John, and any of his volunteers.

Spring into Fashion, The Greville Arms Hotel, Friday April 4 at 8pm (doors open at 7.30pm).
