Kilbeggan Youthreach, a further education centre under the Longford/Westmeath Education and Training Board, are having an event on June 30 to promote the work they do and to raise money for Pieta House, a charity chosen by one of the student.

The event will run from noon to 2.30pm and other Youthreach centres, post-primary principals, businesses in Kilbeggan, friends and family of staff and students here are invited.

The event consists of a concert, BBQ and some small stall carnival-style games. Some of the students will perform in the concert with their tutors from Music Generation – Ireland’s National Music Education Programme which helps children and young people access vocal and instrumental tuition locally.
