Mrs Brown helps 25 Irish charities

Irish registered charity 25 and patron BAFTA winner Mrs Brown have launched the €2WILLDO text campaign, in which people can donate by one text to 25 Irish national charities.

The €2WILLDO text campaign encourages people to make one simple €2 text donation per month - €1.94 of every €2 donated is divided equally among 25 Irish national charities.

BAFTA winner, Mrs Brown (AKA Brendan O'Carroll) was on hand to kick start the proceedings and wants all people over the age of 18 years with a mobile to take part. "I'm so proud to be mother to all of these wonderful Irish charities that do amazing work helping the people of Ireland."

No expenses or overheads to be deducted from the donation.

The €2WILLDO text campaign is a €2 monthly text subscription service and you can stop or cancel at any time.

To donate all you have to do is text the words 2WILLDO to 57802 and every month you will receive a text to see if you want to continue your subscription.

All of this is monitored by service provider Phonovation Ltd, which has also waived costs, again to ensure that all charities receive maximum funding from the text campaign.

Charities involved are:

Make A Wish Foundation, The Carers Association, Age Action, DearHear, Irish Autism Action, Muscular Dystrophy Ireland, Samaritans, Debra, Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, Grace Nolan Association, Childline, Down Syndrome Ireland, Irish Guide Dogs, Myas thenia Gravis Association, Third Age, Marie Keating Foundation, GROW, Irish Cancer Hospice, Teenline, Enable Ireland, Headway, Childvision, Variety Club and Mrs Brown Christmas Dinners.
