Mother Teresa, Our Lady of Lourdes and Pope John Paul 11 were all cited as examples to follow, during Mass in Kilbeggan this morning, for the official opening of the new parish centre.

Most Rev Dr Michael Smith, Bishop of Meath, reminding the congregation that these three had been chosen as patrons of the centre, spoke of the way they had lived the message of Christ.

There was a huge crowd in Kilbeggan for the Mass thismorning and the opening of the town'snew parish centre - a beautiful building opposite the church.  Read all the detail in this week's Westmeath Examiner, out on Tuesday morning.
