The county council is proposing to build a skate park in Mullingar Town Park, and is inviting submissions from the public on the project.

The details are on the council website, www.westmeathcoco.ie, and will be available for inspection or purchase at the Mullingar Area Office, County Buildings, Mullingar from 9am to 5pm each day, excluding weekends and bank holidays, from Tuesday February 25 to Wednesday March 26.

The website states: “Submissions or observations, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area, may be made in writing to Westmeath County Council and addressed to the Administrative Officer, Mullingar Area Office, County Buildings, Mullingar to arrive not later than 5pm on Friday April 11.”
