John Boyhan from Castlepollard won €18,000, including a holiday to Kenya on Saturday’s National Lottery Winning Streak game show on RTÉ – with John are Sinead Kennedy, game show co-host; Declan Harrington, National Lottery, making made the presentation, and Marty Whelan game show co-host. The winning ticket was bought from Murray’s Newsagents, Mullingar Road, Castlepollard.

John (26) is a carpenter and son of Bridget and the late Michael John Boyhan. He has five siblings, Bridget, Catherine, Margaret, Anna, and Andrew, who lives in New Zealand. His partner is Claire Gorman. John plans to use his Winning Streak winnings to pay off a holiday he took to Australia and New Zealand last summer.
