Expect The Unexpected… The X Factor returns

Television’s biggest search for a music star is back as The X
Factor returns, with a new stellar judging panel and a dynamic new
presenting duo.

The new super six sees Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini,
Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora take their places at the judges’ desk, while
presenters Olly Murs and Caroline Flack will be guiding the search to find
a potential pop star with an amazing voice and that extra special
something.

Expect knock out vocals, big personalities and stand out stage presence
as the auditionees tackle five key stages that stand in the way of their
path to victory and securing a life changing record contract.

First, the performers will sing in front of the judges and an arena audience
of thousands to prove their worth. The successful acts will then progress
through to Boot Camp, which this year kicks off in a grand country house.

And, for the first time ever, the public will decide which judge gets which
category – the Boys, the Girls, the Overs and the Groups - in an live vote
on Twitter.

Once the judges have their categories it’s every act for themselves as
Boot Camp continues with the return of the dramatic Six Chair Challenge,
where the remaining contestants will sing for one of the six sought after
spots at Judges’ Houses.

And in an X Factor first, Judges’ Houses will be broadcast LIVE from four
stunning international locations.

Viewers will be able to watch the drama unfold as it happens with live performances from the contestants, followed by the judges making their difficult decisions over which acts to take through to the live shows.
