Mullingar wins at Bank of Ireland Enterprising Town Awards 

Following a Mullingar Chamber initiative, Mullingar was announced the Regional Category Winner at last night’s Bank of Ireland Enterprising Town Awards, at the Tullamore Court Hotel. 

The Enterprising Town program promotes partnership between business groups, chambers of commerce, local government and community groups to plan and deliver a range of activities that will support and generate business. 

The judges apprised the attractiveness of Mullingar’s public realm areas, business premises, signage, parking and accessibility. 

Mullingar Chamber president, Tom Hyland, said: “This is a fantastic accolade for the town and municipal area and illustrates what can be achieved when business and community collaborate.”
