Flynns to welcome Dairymaster setup
Two open days are to take place at Thomas Flynn and Sons Ltd at The Downs next week, to mark the launch of a Dairymaster Service Centre at Flynn’s. Cookstown Dairy Services Ltd will run the centre for Dairymaster, a world leader in dairy equipment manufacturing, and on Thursday and Friday March 6/7 from 2 pm to 10 pm daily, customers will be able to view the range, and explore what the development will mean.
There is a guest speaker line-up for both days: Thursday’s first speaker, at 6 pm, is Joe Burke, livestock manager with Bord Bia; followed at 7pm by the Farmer’s Journal’s tillage editor, Andy Doyle, and at 8.30 pm, Dr Edmond Harty, CEO and technical director of Dairymaster, will speak. On Friday at 5.30 pm, Justin McCarthy, chief editor with the Farmer’s Journal will speak. Dr Harty will give an address at 7 pm, and at 8.30 pm, Tim O’Leary, vice-president of the IFA takes to the podium.
During the open days, Flynn’s will also present their own catalogue of machinery, feed, fuel and agricultural products at their store on Junction 14, N4, The Downs.

The addition of the new Dairymaster service centre adds to the already comprehensive range of services offered by Thomas Flynn and Sons Ltd, who, over thirty years, have built up a reputation as one of the leading suppliers of farm machinery, animal feed and fuel in the Leinster area. All feed products are sold in bulk or bags. On the fuel side, Flynn’s distributes home heating oil, farm fuel, auto diesel and lubricants. Today, Thomas Flynn and Sons Ltd employ approximately 50 people across the different sections of their business.
